Plant-First, Food Independence

One third (1/3) of all food produced for human consumption is lost (45% of fresh produce is wasted), 23.5 million people live in food deserts and a primarily Plant-Based diet is an imperative for the survival of humans on this planet. I believe that by growing our own food we can drastically reduce waste, provide food independence for millions of the most vulnerable and improve our overall health and well-being.

So, if the ability to grow our own food is a crucial part of the solution, how do we empower everyone, everywhere to farm again? Vegable adds “smarts” to raised bed (or any size, shape or form) gardens to turn anyone into a master gardener. Just tell it what you are growing and it will do the rest. Have an abundance of food or excess resources, it’ll help you share your bounty with the community.
